LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An Indiana man was arrested for stealing money from the auto business where he worked.

According to an arrest report, Donald Jackson, 53, of Greenville, worked at the Pep Boys on Dixie Highway. From 2011 until November 2013, Jackson allegedly took close to $6,000.

Jackson would apparently take an account with a zero amount, look at the items with a final invoice and their amount, and then he would match how much money he would need. After that, he would process a refund to give the account a positive amount (acting as though Pep Boys owed the client money) and keep that amount.

Jackson was arrested Thursday and is being charged with theft by unlawful taking.
