LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Temperatures will begin their drop toward the 30s this evening. There is still a risk for some drizzle or even a snowflake later tonight. Most areas will remain dry.
Monday will feature cloudy conditions at times with perhaps a few snow flurries. That flurry will be ahead of another cold front that moves through Monday night. This one will mainly be a temperature change front with highs ONLY in the 20s Christmas Eve day.
When we wake up Christmas morning, it will be cold with many spots in the teens. There is a very small chance for flurries across IN on Christmas Day, but this will be a "green" Christmas this year it appears. We will then moderate back into the 40s as we move in on the last weekend of the year.
There are signs of a significant pattern change toward the new year; one that will feature wintry weather.
