LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville family that lost a loved one a year ago will get a very special Christmas thanks to rapper Master P.

Charles Fambrough, 20, was shot and killed on Christmas Day 2012. His body was found on Portland Avenue near North 24th Street.

Fambrough's family has been struggling to make ends meet, and Christmas was almost out of the question.

But on Christmas Eve, the family got a delivery of Christmas presents from Master P. The star heard about the family's struggle and wanted to help. He provided gifts that included diapers, clothes and a bicycle for Fambrough's son.

Master P has been working with children in the community and with a food drive.
