LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - No injuries were reported after a house caught fire early Thursday morning.

MetroSafe dispatch received a 911 call before 4:30 a.m. and firefighters rushed to a large home in the 7400 block of Old Heady Road, near the Jefferson-Spencer county line.

The fire was apparently out the window of the second story when fire crews arrived. The home owner smelled and saw smoke before calling 911.

Crews worked for about 45 minutes to get control of the fire. The structure is still in decent shape and is not a complete loss.
