LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man accused of crashing his car into a home on purpose has appeared before a judge.

Louisville Metro police arrested Demone Seewright, 36, on New Year's Day. Just before 5 p.m., Seewright deliberately crashed his car into a home in the 4500 block of Yeager Lane, just off Chamberlain Lane, after an apparent domestic dispute.

Officers said Seewright was dropping off his child at the home of the child's mother when the two got into a physical fight.

No one was inside the home when Seewright drove the car into the structure.

Seewright is charged with assault, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and several traffic charges. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 bond.
