LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – LG&E is working to combat power outages they believe are brought on by wind gusts impacting power lines and debris.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, LG&E reported 270 customers affected by "scattered outages" across Jefferson County.
A WAVE 3 News viewer on Thixton Lane near the Quail Chase Golf Course in south Louisville said the area has been without power since 7 a.m. Monday.
LG&E said they have "ramped up" crews working to restore power and in some cases they may reroute power.
The WAVE 3 Storm Tracking Team is forecasting temperatures will hover around 0° for the remainder of Monday with wind speeds consistently around 20 mph.

About 1,200 customers were without power for a little more than an hour but it has since been fixed.
