KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

There were several accidents Monday morning as people made their way to work, some backing up traffic.

One accident happened about 7:45 a.m. Monday at Highway 152 and Indiana Avenue in the Northland.

At least one person was hurt. They are expected to be OK.

Both eastbound lanes of the highway had to be shut down after a car went down the embankment and into some trees.

Another accident was reported on southbound Interstate 435 south of Highway 210. No serious injuries were reported.

An accident between two SUVs also caused some backup on northbound Interstate 35 on the north end of the Christopher South Bond Bridge.
