Police search for Ashland armed robbery suspect

ASHLAND, VA (WWBT) -

The Hanover Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect that robbed a convenience store in Ashland last weekend.

It happened on Saturday around 3:30 a.m. in the 10100 block of Lewistown Road. The suspect robbed the clerk at gunpoint, then ran off. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a 18 to 25-year-old male, about 5'5" tall and weighing about 130 to 150 pounds. We was wearing a jacked with a "Camaro" emblem, black pants, a brown camouflage mask, and a dark-colored baseball hat with orange lettering at the time of the robbery.
