Statewide Silver Alert issued for Indiana man

BREMEN, IN (WAVE) – A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a man police said may require medical attention.

According to the Bremen Police Department, Noble Heyde, 88, was last seen at 1 p.m. Thursday in Bremen, Indiana, located 35 miles north of South Bend.

Heyde is described as 5'9'' tall and weighing 220 pounds with short gray hair, a gray mustache, age spots on his forehead and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing glasses, black pants and a black sweater with a gray tee shirt showing. He was also wearing a black coat and a leather Harley hat.

Officers said Heyde may be traveling to Nappanee, Indiana and is believed to be in a red 2008 Ford F150 pick-up truck with Indiana plate VTE 894.

Police said Heyde may be disoriented. Anyone with information concerning Heyde's located is asked to call the Bremen Police Department by calling (574) 546-3456.
