Doss High School student arrested for robbing student, threatening officers

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Doss High School student was arrested for robbing another student.

According to an arrest warrant, Reginald Grinter, 18, and another person, took a cell phone and $94.00 from the victim. All three are students at Doss High School.

The victim stated that he was pushed into the bathroom where the Grinter and the other person went through the victim's pockets, taking a HTC phone valued at $599.000 and the cash. Following the incident, the pair fled school grounds.

School surveillance captured the victim being pushed into the restroom.

According to police, when he was arrested Grinter made threats to the officers and said he was going to stomp the officer's head into the ground. Grinter also apparently stated that he was going to kill the officers when he gets out of jail.

Grinter is being charged with robbery, theft by unlawful taking, terroristic threatening and criminal mischief.
