Man admits to dumping mutilated animal behind Louisville gas station

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Animal Services has filed charges after a mutilated animal was found dumped behind an area gas station.

LMAS officers charged Jamey Osterhoudt with criminal littering and dumping. Osterhoudt admitted to dumping an animal at a gas station at Valley College Drive and Stonestreet Road in Louisville. He said the animal, which he believes to be a coyote, was shot and killed in Shelby County.

The animal is severely mutilated and LMAS is waiting for results to confirm exactly what type of animal they are dealing with. The investigation is ongoing.
