LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Several people were placed under arrest after a couple was held up at gunpoint after leaving Four Pegs Beer Lounge on Goss Avenue.

According to police, William L. Jones, 27, and another adult approached the couple just after 7 p.m. on January 3 and asked for a light. A juvenile suspect then produced a gun and demanded one victim's purse and the other victim's wallet.

Police said one of the victims was able to track her cell phone to a home in the 1000 block of Samuel Street where the suspects fled. Police were dispatched to that location where they found the victim's purse, credit cards and cash along with her boyfriend's wallet, which was missing $50 in cash. Officers also located a jacket described by one of the victims as having been worn by the juvenile suspect during the incident.

Jones had fled the home before police arrived, but the other two suspects were arrested along with two additional people inside the house. They implicated Jones in the crime.

Jones is charged with first-degree robbery. The status of the other defendants was not immediately known.
