outside in an effort to stop Crawford from stealing her car.
A short time later, Crawford was involved in a police pursuit in Clark
County, Indiana. He crashed into two telephone poles, causing extensive
damage to the victim's car and the utility poles. Police said Crawford
admitted to having just stolen the vehicle.
