LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Steady showers will push east as the evening unfolds. We should start off Tuesday on a dry note, but rain showers will return by the afternoon. This time around, the rain will change to snow showers overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Some could put down enough accumulation to cover the grass/roads so we will have to monitor the Wednesday morning commute carefully.
Overall, Wednesday looks windy and cold with snow showers pretty much all day. We attempt to warm up slightly Thursday, but another cold shot will drop our temperatures and bring back more snow showers Thursday night through Saturday.
There is not much warm weather to talk about at all for in the extended forecast.
Overnight: Drizzle in spots, some clearing later with fog possible.
Tuesday: Midday sunshine peeks, otherwise cloudy afternoon. Rain showers increasing. Winds increasing. High: 47
Tuesday night: Windy, colder. Few snow showers as the night wears on.
Wednesday: Breezy and cold with scattered snow showers. Light accumulations possible.
