Convenience store robbery suspect arrested

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police say the woman being sought for the armed robbery of a convenience store in the Wilder Park neighborhood is now in custody.

According to an arrest warrant, Linsey H. Crider, 25, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, is the person who held up a Circle K store in the 4300 block of S. 3rd Street on January 12.

Police say Crider entered the store just after 11 a.m. pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding cash. After getting the money, Crider and the clerk got into a struggle and the clerk was able to get the cash back,

During the struggle, Crider hit the clerk on the arm several times with a handle that was attached to a restroom key for the business. The clerk suffered only minor injuries.

Crider was arrested after turning herself in to police. She was booked at Louisville Metro Corrections on one count of robbery.
