TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Two suspects remain at large following a robbery New year's Eve at a Tempe credit union.

Tempe police released surveillance images in hopes people can recognize the suspects and provide leads pointing to their whereabouts.

The robbery at the Arizona Federal Credit Union at 755 W. Baseline Rd. happened at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.

One of the suspects went into the building and handed the teller a note implying he was robbing the bank and demanding money, police said.

As the first suspect was in the credit union, an accomplice waited outside and appeared to be working as a lookout, officers said.

The teller gave money to the suspect, who then fled the scene.

Officers believe the same suspects also robbed the same credit union on Oct. 31 and another bank in Ahwatukee on Dec. 23.

Police said both men are described as Hispanic. The first suspect is between 5'8" to 6'0" tall and weighs between 190 to 220 pounds. He is in his mid-30s to 40s and has a thick mustache and thin beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue and green "heavy-duty" buttoned-up, long-sleeved work shirt, jeans, a black baseball cap, athletic shoes, sunglasses and a black wig with straight hair.

The second suspect is described as in his mid-30s to early 40s. He was clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a gray undershirt, a long-sleeved, buttoned-up shirt with vertical lines, jeans and black shoes

People with any information are asked to contact the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311 or Silent Witness.
