PD: Flasher exposes self to Prescott girl, 10

PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in Prescott are looking for a motorist who exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl who was walking from a bus stop Wednesday.

The alleged incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. as the victim was walking on the sidewalk near West Delano Avenue.

A man driving a red Pontiac sedan pulled up next to her, called her over to his car and flashed her, said Prescott police Lt. Ken Morley.

The victim said she took off running and the vehicle drove off, Morley said.

She described the alleged perpetrator as a "grown man" with short brown hair. She also said he was wearing a baseball-style hat and he had on a red or green T-shirt, Morely said.

The girl flagged down a passing car and the woman called police.

Police were unable to locate the vehicle or suspect.

People with any information about the crime should call the Prescott Police Department at 928- 777-1900 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
