LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed someone.
An arrest warrant states the incident occurred on October 30 on West Jefferson Street. Apparently Deandra Daniels, 28, was in her car outside of the victim's house when an argument between the two began.
The victim said that Daniels got out of the car, and stabbed her in the abdomen with a knife. Daniels fled the scene and a neighbor of the victim transported her to University Hospital.
Hospital staff performed emergency surgery to repair the wound and she spent four nights in the there for treatment.
After being released, the victim contacted LMPD and positively identified Daniels through a photo pack. Daniels had similar charges pending in court and is being charged with first degree assault for the stabbing.
