LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman arrested on prostitution charges by Metro police is facing more charges after she tried to get away from officers.
Marcy M. Jackson, 24, of Radcliff, Kentucky, was arrested January 16. Police said Jackson came to a hotel room after officers replied to an ad that had been placed on a website.
Once at the room, Jackson agreed to be paid $200 for sex. Police said Jackson also brought a box of condoms with her.
As she was being taken to a police car following her arrest, Jackson pushed officers away and tried to flee. According to police, Jackson knew she had outstanding warrants from Hardin County and would be facing prison time.
Metro police charged Jackson with prostitution, not having an escort license and fleeing or evading police.
