LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A large group of Fort Knox soldiers lifted spirits to patients at Kosair Children's Hospital on Saturday.

The group handed out nearly 200 toys and teddy bears to children staying in the hospital.

"I think a lot of time it blesses us as soldiers as much as the children," said US Army Chaplain Col. Jeffrey McGrady. "We're always looking for a way to give meaning to what we do."

They hope to make the special trip to Kosair a yearly event.
