Ryan Hoke’s forecast has a quiet start to the week

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - We're set to see temperatures top out near the freezing mark this afternoon as cooler air filters in behind yesterday's clipper system. Skies will be partly sunny for Martin Luther King, Jr Day on Monday with highs topping out near 40, but that's the last we'll see of the 40s for a while.

Another clipper system dives down into the region by early Tuesday, providing another light snow chance and bringing in much cooler air behind it. Highs will not break out of the 20s for most of the remainder of the workweek with overnight lows in the teens.

FORECAST

TODAY: Partly Cloudy, High: 34

TONIGHT: Mostly Clear, Low: 30

MONDAY: Partly Cloudy, High: 40

TUESDAY: Light Snow Showers, High: 28, Low: 21
