MILLTOWN, IN (WAVE) – A popular scenic restaurant in Milltown, Indiana has sustained an extensive amount of damage after a fire early Sunday morning.
According to Crawford County dispatch, a call was received at 5:29 to the Blue River Café on Main Street in Milltown. Several fire departments responded including Milltown, Marengo and Ramsey.
Fire fighters said the fire was under control at 8:16, but caused extensive damage. The fire is under investigation.

In Jackson County, twenty-three roads were closed by Saturday afternoon, including parts of US 250, 256 and 258.

As of Thursday night, the Ohio River was in minor flood stage. It is forecast to crest in moderate flood stage.
The American Red Cross has opened eight shelters for those displaced by flooding and severe weather in WAVE Country.
