LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Overall, not a bad forecast the next 24 hours. We should barely dip below freezing tonight and climb well into the 40s for the MLK holiday tomorrow. I would not be surprised if some of our southern areas get close to 50 degrees.
That all changes later Monday nigh into Tuesday. An Arctic boundary pushes through the region. It may bring rain to start, but then change to snow showers by early Tuesday. Some accumulations are possible with an inch or two being on the high-end, and a dusting on the low-end.
It will be a much colder day Tuesday with highs falling slowly throughout the day into the 20s. We have a couple more fronts moving in through the rest of the week into next weekend. Each one will have a light snow chance and cold weather too boot.
Tonight: Few clouds; Low: 30
MLK DAY: Partly Sunny. Cloudy later in the day; High: 46
Monday night: Light rain changing to snow overnight; Low: 26
Tuesday: Breezy with snow showers. Temps steady or falling into the low 20s.
