JCPS, KDE investigating claims school crossed testing guidelines

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An investigation into whether or not a high school crossed the line to help students on standardized tests has been started by Jefferson County Public Schools and the Kentucky Department of Education.

According to JCPS Executive director of Communications Christi Lanier Robinson, Male High School is at the center of the investigation after problems come about concerning the Compass Test, a practice ACT test.

Robinson said there have been allegations staff at the school may have broken guidelines to help students prepare by giving them questions from an actual test.
