AARP Driver Course

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Every day 10,000 people across the country turn 65, many of them are still driving. But with new-vehicle technology, crowded and changing roadways there are more challenges than ever for older drivers. The AARP safe driver course is here to help.

The AARP has helped drivers stay safe, educated and confident behind the wheel since 1979. AARP Smart Driver™ Course classes are going on now until March of this year. The course was developed to help drivers 50 and older stay current with driving laws and news technologies inside and outside of vehicles. The course is a 4 hour class being held around town.

Visit www.aarp.org/drive for more information on the classes.
