WEBSTER CO., KY (WFIE) -

Kentucky State Police have charged a Hopkins County man with sexual abuse.

KSP says on Wednesday, troopers arrested 46-year-old Michael A. Cummings, of Nebo.

Troopers say Cummings was charged with one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree – Victim under 12 (C Felony).

He was taken to the Webster County Jail.

KSP says an investigation was initiated in September of 2013 after they received information from the Webster County Department for Community Based Services that Cummings had sexual contact with a child in Webster County.
