LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man being held on one robbery charge has now been charged with committing robberies of people waiting to catch a bus.

Louisville Metro Police placed the additional charges against Jordan Waller, 18, on January 22 for the robberies that happened on January 17 and 18.

In the first robbery, Waller's victim was waiting at a school bus stop when Waller asked him to use his cell phone. When the man asked for his cell phone back, Waller balled up his fist and told the victim "no, this is my phone now" before fleeing with the $299.00 phone.

The next day, Waller is accused of using a gun to rob a woman waiting for a bus at Dixie Highway and Grand Avenue in the California neighborhood.

Both victims were able to identify Waller as the person who robbed them by looking a mugshots in a photo pack.

In addition to his original charges, Waller is facing two additional counts of robbery.
