Quail Albany keeps rolling on in Albany.
On Thursday, area shooters joined actors, athletes, and musicians at Flint River Skeet and Trap for the annual Celebrity Sporting Clays Tournament.
"I've been planning on this since the day I left last year," laughs Vincent Hancock, a two-time Olympic skeet shooting gold medalist. "These aren't competition targets or anything. It's for everybody that's part of the event just to come out here and enjoy themselves."
Around 60 shooters took part in Thursday's festivities.
Hancock says, like many others, participating in the week once keeps him coming back.
"This is my second year, and they make you feel like you're a part of the family," he says."So being able to come out here on the shooting range, it's a lot of fun. And that's what its all about."
The week continues with the first day of hunting Friday and a banquet Friday night at the Albany Civic Center.
