LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man has been arrested after firing a gun around a woman's home with children inside.

According to Louisville Metro police, Ra'Suan Anderson, 21, fired numerous shots at the woman's home after a verbal altercation with the woman on January 15. Anderson had been sleeping on the woman's front porch when family members confronted him.

Police said Anderson fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene. Two children, ages 1 and 3, were in the home at the time of the incident. An arrest warrant states Anderson and the woman have a child together.

Anderson was taken into custody on January 24 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He has been charged with menacing, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and two counts of wanton endangerment. There was also an outstanding bench warrant for his arrest.
