No. 13 Cincinnati limited vs No. 12 Louisville

CINCINNATI (AP) - No. 13 Cincinnati doesn't know whether it'll have its best defensive player available for a first-place showdown in the American Athletic Conference.

Justin Jackson sprained his left ankle during an 80-76 win at Temple on Sunday, sidelining the senior forward for the second half. The Owls scored 50 points in the second half, a sign of how much the Bearcats (19-2, 8-0) missed their top shot blocker and leading rebounder.

Jackson didn't practice Tuesday. Coach Mick Cronin might wait until Thursday to decide whether to let him play later that night at No. 12 Louisville.

Cincinnati leads the conference, a game ahead of the Cardinals (17-3, 6-1). The long-time rivals have a rematch Feb. 22 in Cincinnati.
