LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A former employee of a Louisville business is accused of stealing several iPhones from the business by hiding them inside a Doritos bag, according to Louisville Metro police.

Investigators said Dameon Giles, 36, of New Albany, had been banned from Gazelle at 7213 Global Drive but showed up at the business on November 30, 2013. A security guard noticed Giles put a bag of Doritos in a basket as he walked through a metal detector at the facility. The guard also noticed the bag seemed "heavy."

Police said when the guard looked inside the bag of chips, he found nine iPhones. Giles then left the building and never returned.

Giles was arrested on Thursday. He is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
