LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Construction on the new downtown bridge means some changes for drivers coming starting Saturday.
Crews are removing deteriorated concrete, replacing rebar and pouring a new layer of concrete to shore up a column this week.
This means drivers will not be able to use I-64 west if coming from I-65 north.
Deterioration was discovered in December and temporary repairs were made until crews had the chance to work on the column.
