Christie Dutton says expect partly sunny skies after the snow ends

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The snow will end this morning and some of the clouds will clear for partly sunny skies this afternoon.

Snow totals across Louisville vary from 2" to 6", with much less reported in southern Indiana. The highest accumulation was just to the south and east of Louisville.

Many roads are snow-covered and slick this morning.

We will have another round of wintry weather tomorrow through Wednesday. This could start out as rain tomorrow in the late afternoon, then turn into a rain/snow mix tomorrow night before transitioning into freezing rain and ice by Wednesday morning.

FORECAST

Today: Morning snow gives way to partly sunny skies. High: 34°

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 27°

Tuesday: Rain the afternoon. Rain/snow overnight. Ice/snow after midnight. High: 38° Low: 30°
