FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - State and contract crews continue to plow roadways this morning due to the heavy snow that fell overnight, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).
"Snow totals range from 3 to 8 inches across District 5. With this much snow, it will take some time to get all routes clear," said Andrea Clifford, the Public Information Officer for KYTC. "The interstates and other "A" routes are in good shape. Our secondary and rural roads (B and C routes) are still partly to mostly covered depending upon where you are."
Clifford said Trimble County lucked out this time with the least amount of precipitation and their routes are down to wet pavement.
