LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is accused of firing a shotgun five times outside a Louisville Kroger in January, and police said some of the pellets hit the side of the shopping center.

According to investigators, Patrick D. Daugherty, 20, of Louisville fired three shots into the air and then pointed the shotgun at the side of the Kroger building at 1265 Goss Avenue and fired two more shots.

Daugherty's arrest report states detectives have video of the incident, which happened on January 20, and they recovered shotgun ammunition from the scene.

On a later date, a witness told police that Daugherty fired a handgun in the air multiple times from her front porch in the 1100 block of South Preston Street. Detectives said they recovered a 9mm shell casing from the porch.

According to police, Daugherty's "conduct created substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to others."

Daugherty confessed to his role in both incidents, his arrest report states.

Officers executed a search warrant, according to the report, and recovered ammunition matching the 9mm shell casings, marijuana and a scale. Daugherty claimed he got rid of the guns.

Daugherty is charged with six counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond was set at $25,000.
