MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – A family member of the father and daughter who survived a house fire killed a mother and eight children said their conditions are improving.

Adam Brown, a cousin of Chad Watson, posted a photo of the father with his 11-year-old daughter Kylie Watson as they continue to recover at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

In the post Brown wrote;

"This is what miracles look like, folks. Living, breathing, beautiful miracles. For those of you who you aren't a member of our church or a local community member who knows the Watson family personally, let us introduce you to Chad and Kylie Watson. Praise God for His amazing healing power in sweet Kylie and Chad's lives. Please keep the prayers coming for them! Although they are making great improvements, they of course still have a long road ahead. We love you Kylie and Chad! #watsonstrong"

According to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Madisonville, Chad Watson's wife, Nikki Watson, 35, their daughters Madison, 15, Kaitlyn, 14, Morgan, 13, Emily, 9, and Raegan, 6, and sons, Samuel, 8, and 4-year-old twins Mark and Nathaniel, died as a result of smoke inhalation after their home caught fire on January 30.

As of Tuesday, family members said Chad Watson and Kylie were stable. Chad Watson may be released from the hospital as early as Wednesday, but he will need weeks of physical therapy. Family members are hopeful Kylie will be released in the next week or two.

A celebration service for the Watson's is scheduled to be held at Muhlenberg County High School West Campus at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
