SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - In video interviews with Bullitt County sheriff's deputies, Michael Dishon, the father of Jessica Dishon, answers questions about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance and murder of his 17-year-old daughter. Portions of the interview, at times, were so intense, the interviewer opts to take a break.

"Chris comes in the house. He said, 'Dad, I think I heard Jessica holler "help me,"'" recalled Michael Dishon while tearing up.

In the video interviews, Michael Dishon goes on to describe how his brother, Stanley Dishon, who was charged 14 years later with Jessica's murder, helped search for Jessica. Michael Dishon added that upon returning from an initial search for Jessica on the morning of Saturday, September 11, 1999, the brothers returned to find police searching through Jessica's car trunk.

"He said, 'don't let that SB search that car,'" said Michael Dishon. "That's exactly what Stanley said."

During another round of interviewing, Michael Dishon admits he cannot remember notifying Stanley of Jessica's disappearance.

"I just don't remember calling Stanley," said Michael Dishon.

Throughout the recorded sessions, Michael expressed concern that a friend of Jessica's had been withholding information.

"When me and Edna went over there and asked her had she seen Jessica that day, she was crying," said Dishon. "She was crying when she come out, you know. Right then, tells me she knew something that she's just not telling me."

As the interviewer's questions again centered around Stanley Dishon's past as a convicted sex offender, Michael Dishon vowed to avenge his daughter's death.

"If Stanley's involved in this," said Michael Dishon, "I will see him get the death penalty."
