Three-Point Barrage Sends No. 2 IU Southeast To 111-80 Win
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast used a blistering attack from behind-the-arc to defeat Berea Thursday night.
The Grenadiers (19-3, 13-0 KIAC) shot 63 percent (17-of-27) from three-point range in the game. Aishon White was 6-of-7 from the perimeter and led the Grenadiers with 26 points. Kevin Mitchell was 5-of-5 from behind-the-arc and had 23 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Kegan Clark had 12 points and Jake Simpson added 10.
Though the Grenadiers' offense was solid throughout, IU Southeast led by only eight at the break 56-48.
The Grenadiers held Berea to just 31 percent shooting in the second half and outscored them 55-32 to pull away.
IU Southeast shot 54 percent for the game and 56 percent in the second half.
The Grenadiers host iU East on Homecoming at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
