LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police say have arrested one of two men who they say lured another man to a meeting just to rob him.

An arrest report says Devin A. McCauley, 18, of Louisville and a co-defendant met their victim in the 2500 block of Garland Avenue on the afternoon of October 9. Once the victim arrived, he was held at gunpoint by McCauley and the other person who demanded the victim give them his bank card.

Police said the man tried to use the bank card at a nearby store, but the purchase couldn't be completed. McCauley and his partner then forced the victim into his truck and made him to drive to a nearby bank branch to withdraw money. After the victim was able to alert bank employees McCauley and his partner fled.

McCauley was arrested February 13 and gave LMPD a recorded statement about his involvement. He has been charged with kidnapping, robbery and theft by unlawful taking.

Metro police also said McCauley admitted to stealing a PlayStation 3 from a home on Midway Avenue on January 8 and selling the item to someone on the street.
