LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman taking part a charity event was arrested after Louisville Metro Police say she was intoxicated.
An arrest report says Rose M. Branham, 37, was a participant in Cupid's Undie Run, a fundraiser for the Children's Tumor Foundation. Branham was at 4th and Market streets when police say she was stumbling in the street and would not move out of the roadway when asked to do so by police.
At one point, police said Branhan, who the arrest report said smelled of alcoholic beverages and was slurring her speech, became loud and started cursing.
Branham questioned officers about why she was being stopped and spit on a LMPD traffic control officer working the event.
Eventually, police said Branham admitted to being drunk.
Branham was charged with alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.
