UofL student robbed, hit by vehicle

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A student said she was robbed and hit by a vehicle on the University of Louisville campus.

According to the UofL Police Department, on Monday around 2:10 p.m. a student told police a man was in the process of stealing her license plate when she approached her vehicle in the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium parking lot.

The suspect was able to get the license plate off the vehicle, then hit the victim with a gold Dodge Intrepid, knocking her to the ground.

The suspect is described as being between 20 to 25 years old and was wearing a black toboggan, dark sunglasses, a black jacket and black jeans.

This comes just one day after another student reported being robbed near Bettie Johnson Hall by someone asking for directions.

Police said the victim in this incident refused medical treatment. Anyone with information on either case is asked to call UofL police at (502) 852-6111.
