UofL student robbed near residence hall

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A college student was robbed by a man asking for directions near a residence hall, according to University of Louisville police.

Police said on Sunday at 11:45 p.m., the student was walking from a Chevron gas station to Bettie Johnson Hall when the suspect approached. After asking for directions the man grabbed the student's arm and stole their wallet.

The man was described as being between 22 to 23 years old and around 6'1'' or 6'2'' with short hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and black sweat pants at the time of the robbery.
