MIDDLETOWN, KY (WAVE) – Another temporary road closure took place Tuesday morning due to an accident caused by slick conditions as black ice coats roads across WAVE Country.

According to Louisville Metrosafe, a three car collision happened around 8:45 a.m. on Shelbyville Road at Long Run Road near the Valhalla Golf Club.

The Eastwood Fire Department responded to the scene and found a white truck over the guard rail.

Air 3 was above the scene as a man was rescued from the truck and transported to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

The road was treated by salt trucks and reopened.
