Authorities say black ice is to blame for several slide-offs and accidents Tuesday morning on State Road 68.
One accident, a few miles east of Highway 41, involved two cars.
The sheriff's office says one lost control, crossed the center line and hit the other.
Both cars ended up in ditches on opposite sides of the road.
"We started late last night and we haven't quit. We've actually worked all the way through the night, so I mean, it's been wreck after wreck. It's mostly been bad wrecks, too," said Stan Beadles, owner of Beadles Towing.
One person in that accident was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
