Oxford, Mississippi (WAVE) - #18 Kentucky built a big first half cushion and then held off a late Ole Miss rally for an 84-70 win.
Freshman Julius Randle led the Cats with 25 points and 13 rebounds, his 14th double-double of the season.
Kentucky improves to 20-6, 10-3 in the Southeastern Conference.
It is the 58th 20-win season in UK history and fifth consecutive under John Calipari.
The Cats used a 15-0 run to take control in the first half, and led 42-25.
Ole Miss closed to within 76-70 with 1:57 remaining, but Randle ended the threat with his final field goal.
The Cats return to Rupp Arena on Saturday, hosting LSU. Tip off is set for 4 p.m.
