LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced a lane closure along a portion of I-64 east in Shelby County February 19.
The left lane of traffic will be closed between the 28 and 33 mile markers between 9am and 3pm Wednesday for the I-64 widening project between Simpsonville and Shelbyville.
KYTC crews will be performing some drainage repairs to alleviate ponding of water on the roadway.
Traffic will be shifted to the right lane just east of the Simpsonville exit (Exit 28). Motorists will have access to the welcome center and Exit 32 in Shelbyville.
