CLERMONT, KY (WAVE) - A Bullitt County fire chief is coming under fire after he is accused of lying about minimum hours for training rosters in order to get incentive pay.

According to the Kentucky Fire Commission, Julius Hatfield, the Southeast Bullitt fire chief, admitted to the discrepancies on training rosters in an email.

A committee ruled that Hatfield should pay back the incentive money, plus pension costs, dating back to 2008. The total amount could be as much as $30,000.

The committee will take its finding to the full board at its February 28 meeting.
