LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Here are five things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1. Weekend weather -- On the heels of a night of storms comes pleasant Friday weather. WAVE 3 News Storm Tracking Team Meteorologist Christie Dutton looks ahead to what's on tap for the weekend.

2. Restaurant fire -- Fire investigators will be looking for the cause of an overnight fire that destroyed a Mexican restaurant on Dixie Highway. It took about 45 firefighters to put out the flames at Mexico Tipico. Two firefighters experienced a close call when the ceiling collapsed as they were exiting the structure.

3. Elizabethtown excavation -- The future site of a Habitat for Humanity home in Hardin County will be excavated today to see if someone is buried on the lot. A tipster contacted Elizabethtown police last week, claiming a body could be buried on the property off East Railroad Avenue, where an ex-con who recently died used to live.

4. Convenience store scare -- Surveillance cameras captured video of a woman walking into a Louisville convenience store Tuesday, waving a gun at customers and employees. Click here to see the dramatic video and to find out why police say the woman wasn't there to rob the place.

The 19-year-old Goepper is inviting women to submit on Twitter their most creative bids for a date with him using the hashtag #IWantToDateNickGepper. He plans to make his decision after the Olympics end on Sunday.
