LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has been arrested on charges that he assaulted another man outside a bar.

Johnny Ray Peak, 22, is accused of pushing a man to the ground outside TK's Pub on February 8.

An arrest warrant says while in the parking lot of the bar Peak punched and kicked the man multiple times in the head and face. The victim suffered a broken jaw, broken nose, fractures to both eye sockets, retinal bleeding and a concussion.

The warrant states Peak and others went outside the bar after an earlier incident inside. The victim was leaving the bar with his girlfriend and two other people. Police said the victim was not involved in the earlier incident inside TK's Pub.

According to the warrant, peak was arrested on assault charges after the incident at TK's. He was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at the Hall of Justice on February 20 on another assault charge.
