Man who fell to his death at cement plant identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man who fell four stories down an elevator shaft to his death at a Louisville cement plant Friday has been identified.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Felipe Mata-Fiscaya, 37, died of multiple blunt force injuries after falling 60 feet at CEMEX. Mata-Fiscaya was a temporary worker with a cleaning service our of Alabama called Personal Touch. He was originally from Mexico. His body will be returned there for burial.

Mata-Fiscaya's death was ruled accidental.

CEMEX is located at 15301 Dixie Highway. It is the former Kosmosdale Cement Plant
